I feel immensely happy & privileged to delineate the developments and Shaping up of this Polytechnic in the recent past. Technical Education is one of the most significant components of human resources development spectrum in improving the quality of life. The present youth need to be optimistic and wise and the institutions need to build these attitudes during their student life. Steps need to be taken to develop such attitude in our Classroom besides the subject expertise teacher’s duty is to guide, facilitate and lead the youth towards attainment of right attitude and it is the attitude that makes the difference.

Sincere attempts are being made in our Polytechnic to guide the students in important aspects related to technical growth and Students are trained in various spheres to face real life situation making them confident at individual level. All possible information will be made available to our Stakeholders and I wish all the best to our Prospective Students and hope that their Academic pursuit at Government Polytechnic College Kulgam will be fruitful for both the Students and to the Nation.
